Our digital ceramic printing process allows any image or design loaded on to Windows or a Mac using Photo shop or a similar programme to be used in the ceramic printing process. This image is then digitally processed using our FIERY RIP which is connected to our A3 high quality ceramic digital printer.

Once you have selected your design Press Print - Within a few moments a full colour digital high quality Ceramic Transfer will be produced up to A3 edge to Edge. You can digitally print one image or multi images of the same or different designs onto one A3 ceramic transfer sheet ensuring Digital Ceramic Printing is a very cost effective method of producing ceramic transfers without holding open stock of ceramic transfers.

Once you have your Ceramic Digital Transfer you'll need to apply a traditional liquid covercoat or a laminated covercoat. If you do not have your own facilities to apply a liquid covercoat our laminated covercoats are ideally suited to the small studio potter or anyone who requires an instant turn around. Simply marry your Digital Ceramic Transfer to our laminated covercoated sheet and pass through a laminator.

Once you have applied your Ceramic Glass Sheetmetal Covercoat, apply your Digitally Created Ceramic Transfer to your chosen item. Place your Digital Ceramic Transfer into warm water for just a minute or two and the transfer releases from the digital ceramic paper. Apply ensuring no water is trapped. Once applied your digital ceramic transfer can be fired in a small kiln to a large industrial kiln.
We offer a comprehensive range of New Used and custom made kilns to suit all applications and budgets. Starter kilns using domestic power supplies to large tunnel kilns. We also offer after sales service and support on our kilns.
Our Digital Ceramic Transfers can be fired from 500c to 900c dependent on your items. We also can provide a HIGH FIRING CERAMIC TONER 1400c. Firing at these tempretures ensures that all our ceramic transfers are durable and colour fast. All our digital ceramic transfers are ideally suited for a vast number of applications in and outdoor.
What is a Fiery Rip?
A Rip is a device which can be installed or embedded onto a printer such as a Ceramic networked printer or an external processor which is connected to the printer via a cable. The Rip or Raster Image Processor interprets the printer data and converts it to a raster image which is used by the printer to form the the ceramic transfer.

When you hit File : Print you send printer control information about your document to the printer, the Rip receives it and processes the data independently. By using its own computing hardware and dedicated image processing components the Rip takes control of the job without loading your PC or the printer which has the effect of hugely speeding up the print output time.
With our upgrade package you will see a massive increase in productivity is especially noticeable when printing complex print jobs, postscript files , and ceramic colour prints as the processing load for this kind of work is usually quite heavy.
