Using recent developments in digital technology it is now possible to capture images, produce continuous tone or half tone transfers very easily and quickly without the added costs and complications associated with the traditional screen printing process. The system requires speciality ceramic toners and ceramic transfer papers for water-slide application to ceramic products. Digital printing technology is ideal for small potteries, home business, universities and students. It offers the possibility to achieve short runs of personalized or promotional items; for the larger manufacturer, drastic reductions in inventory are an attractive benefit. This
There are 2 methods that will obtain a quality ceramic transfer ready to apply to ceramic pottery items.
Method 1-
If you require a small quantity (<50 A3 sheets) of ceramic transfers, send your artwork to us as follows:
Image files - email the files to sales @printdigitalceramics.com. All images should ideally be a minimum of 300dpi. The maximum file size is 10 MB – for larger file sizes you may wish to use www.yousendit.com Alternatively you can post a disk to our office address. The transfer sheets will be despatched within three working days.
Method 2 -
Do you anticipate an ongoing need to print more than 10 ceramic transfers? Then you should give serious consideration to installing your own digital laser ceramic printing system
